Isolation: Pull page for Deseret Magazine, Eric Gillette, Art Director. This will be in the upcoming book. All of the following illustrations (except the one) were featured in gloriously designed, lavishly printed books representing the best juried illustrations of the year. Thousands of entries are sent in every year, worldwide, and only a few hundred are selected to appear in the books. It’s always a great honor to be included.

Abortion Disinformation- Chicago Magazine. Unused sketch that I polished up. Probably why it’s so fresh. The Sideways poster, my most recognized image, was also from a sketch.

From Big Tobacco to Donald Trump: Disinformation, lying, etc. Eric Gillette, A.D. Deseret Magazine, full page.

Poster: “ Prayer for The French Republic” Manhattan Theater Company, Unused sketch, taken to finish.

NYTimes Business section cover. I missed the competition (and many other things) because of Covid, and this would have been my favorite entry. However, I did get an e-mail from the great Paul Davis saying how much he liked the drawing- and that was the best award an illustrator can get.

King Louie’s Shoes: Endpapers for a children’s book with D.J. Steinberg. Beach Lane Books, Simon & Schuster. Art Director, Lauren Rille, editor, Andrea Welch.
